Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the Design of Special Purpose Machinery who is interested in joining a business that is a respected world leader in their market niche?

It is essential you have 3D experience – ideally Solidworks. You will be designing Manual and Automated Special Purpose Machinery so if you have experience in these areas it would be great but it is not essential for individuals with excellent engineering aptitude and motivation to learn new skills.

There is currently a strong design team and we are ideally looking for analytical engineers with strong maths who have experience in conducting hand calculations, it would be fantastic if you had experience in leading design projects as well as supporting junior engineers.

You will be Designing one off and bespoke equipment as well as making modifications to existing machinery – you will also have the opportunity to take design lead on projects covering Design, Build and Testing.

The Role

• Mechanical Design of Manual and Automated Special Purpose Machinery
• Day to Day 3D Design in Solidworks
• Building and Testing of Machines
• Produce Technical Documentation and Operational Manuals

The Person

• Mechanical Engineer Qualification
• Strong Maths – Analytical with experience in hand calculations
• Desirable – Experience in Design of Special Purpose Machinery
• 3D Design Experience – Ideally with Solidworks
