Materials Supply Planning Project Analyst

The Enterprise Capacity & Materials Planning Strategy (ECMPS) team within Pratt & Whitney is a rapidly growing organization established to assess the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network

.

Major functions of the ECMPS organization are Demand & Supply Management, Network Capacity, Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP), and Master Scheduling.

The Planning, Scheduling and Controlling organization is looking for an analytical, results-driven individual to deliver materials planning process and systems improvements through project execution. The successful candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream.

The Materials Supply Planning Project Analyst is a key role within the value stream and ECMPS that executes process and systems improvements to ensure schedule accuracy and enable schedule stability. Responsibilities include

(but are not limited to):
Execute the improvement and maintenance of the Materials Supply Planning discipline.

Execute systems improvements, process improvements, inventory reduction initiatives and other initiatives in support of ECMPS teams.

Maintain Supply Planning policies and procedures, standard work and measurement systems necessary for enabling delivery for the Module Center Value Streams.

Implement strategies necessary to support delivery within the Module Center value streams specific to Supply Planning.

Individuals in this role must also be able to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines including IT, Logistics, Procurement, Configuration Control and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

3-5 years of materials planning experience or equivalent. Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with the value stream teams. Must demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience and APICS certification preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required (business, supply chain or equivalent preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education. ACE Associate or higher
