BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION:
The successful candidate provides support for key data within the organization. This includes master and transactional data that are used by SAP and other systems within the global organization. These other systems include, but are not limited to, SPS Commerce, Gentran, CMA, Source and Ilink. This also includes training others to ensure accuracy of the data flowing between systems. The main focus of the Master Data Analyst is material master data and EDI transactional data but can include other master data as needed.

The people in this position assist in maintaining the standardization and integrity of processes and data throughout the entire system landscape and the global organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Process updates to Material Master data via Helpdesk tickets including mass updates of materials

Trouble shoot and update Material Master data via e-mails and phone calls

Weekly update blocks on Material Masters from BW report run on Monday nights

Assemble Material Master Data reports for users

Train users in Material Master screens/data gathering reports/searching for material numbers

Standardize Material Master Descriptions for spare parts and operating supplies

Trouble shoot and process outbound invoice, order change, order response, and shipment IDOC’s, as well as trouble shoot and process inbound order errors

Process and notify CSR’s of PO changes, Remittance Advice, and Text Messages from SPS Commerce

Process and trouble shoot all CMA requests globally

Train users in CMA

Create/update users security and rules for the program

Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma Required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
1-2 of years of experience analyzing data

SAP Experience strongly perferred

Able to pay close attention to detail

Able to understand the impact and correctly define mass data updates in order to only update necessary data

Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner

Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions

Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms

Creative thinker

Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed

Set a good example of personal integrity

Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn; seek out development activities to improve skills and increase knowledge; learn from other team members and own mistakes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)

Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ duration.
