Master Data Analyst

Position Summary

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, validation and continuous improvement of SAP master. The role has responsibility for working closely with functional groups to ensure that master data is analyzed, controlled, entered and released into business systems in a timely manner, as dictated by standard operating procedures and guidelines within the functions and businesses supported. The role includes proactive collaboration with data owners/requestors to ensure clarity to ensure completeness.

Position Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, monitor and analyze master data in SAP and/or other integrated solutions in compliance with established service levels.
• Implements MDM practices, policies and standards adopted by the company.
• Ensure and enhance data quality and train users to ensure continuity of results.
• Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems utilizing established global and regulatory rules.
• Identifies areas of specific master data weakness and suggests methods of improvement
• Maintains policies and procedures to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present in support of SOX audit requirements.
• Provide testing support for upgrades and releases, including integration testing from various sources to target systems.

Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and guide processes through to closure.

Required:
Post high school education or combination of equivalent work experience (Bachelor s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).

3-5+ years of experience with data management, cleanup, and optimization

Expereince using EdgeNet (strongly preferred) or SAP (ECC Required; APO preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); Excel experience required.
