Marketing/Community Liaison

Lead multiple aspects of the in-store marketing program execution including oversight and implementation of Global and Regional marketing initiatives. Develop a strong community presence and foster partnerships with community organizations, schools, and non-profits. Responsibilities

Support marketing and promotional programs and initiatives through consistent program execution; includes implementation and regular audits of price and item sign standards and promotional collateral.

Work with Store Leadership to create strong community partnerships and communicate these partnerships to both team members and customers.

Develop a strong community presence by working with community organizations, non-profits, neighborhood associations and schools and leveraging those partnerships to see a positive return on investment.

Create monthly in-store customer experience calendar; includes execution of events and reporting to appropriate stakeholders.

Conduct and/or coordinate store tours, classes, and lecture programs for groups.

Educate team members and customers on new, local, and private label products.

Manage store social media accounts.

Work with Regional Marketing and Store Leadership to define objectives, strategies and plan.

Act as a source of creative ideas and solutions to increase store sales.

Keep Store Leadership informed of all events, programs, and marketing initiatives.

Knowledge of basic marketing principles and grassroots community relations

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking

Self-motivated/directed

Proficient in basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
