MARKETING SPECIALIST

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist develops, executes and evaluates marketing and communication strategies, and associated events, to further the marketing and development goals of Bryan Health.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

Develops, coordinates and markets health and wellness related programs/seminars based on Health System strategic goals ensuring promotion of service lines and Bryan physicians; evaluates and adjusts programs/seminars as needed; monitors expenses and provides Director with budgetary recommendations/planned expenditures for programs.

Leads teams, committees and task forces related to System’s events and outreach efforts.

Strategizes and works with physicians to identify marketing opportunities, including community events.

Participates in the production of system’s monthly events/program calendar.

Produces a variety of broadcast and social media vehicles, as well as print collateral, to execute communication plans. May include strategies for patient education.

Meets with assigned department leaders to clarify objectives, confirm tactics and establish ROI metrics for annual marketing and development plan.

Coordinates qualitative and quantitative research needs

Ensures brand integrity across system entities

Serves as liaison with outside contractors, agency representatives and free-lance writers/designers

Participates in the planning and development of the department’s goals and budget, in sync with the Health System’s strategic plan.

Acts as a liaison with selected community groups, organizations and businesses to promote products/services of the Health System.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or relevant health-related field required. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in associated marketing activities required.
