The Hermitage Hotel – Tennessee’s only Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond hotel and recently ranked among the top 10 hotels in the U.S. by U.S. News – is searching for a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Manager will assist in developing and fostering hotel and outlet business as well as providing focus for the hotel’s own 250-acre farms and gardens which serve as the hotel’s source of produce and beef. Double H Farm is well-known as the third largest cattle ranch in Tennessee, with all of the hotel’s and restaurant’s beef coming from ethically raised, free-range, grass-fed Red Poll cattle.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of two (2) years prior hotel and/or restaurant marketing experience, excellent customer service skills and impeccable communications skills that will deliver exceptional results. A deep appreciation and understanding of the Southern culture and vernacular are strongly preferred. Additionally, a passion for sustainable farming is strongly desired.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Oversee all advertising and promotion activities including printed materials, PPC/SEO, social media, email newsletters, PR and print ads.
  • Develop and execute plans/campaigns based on analysis of the market, competitors and customer needs.
  • Oversee demand generation to drive performance, maximize yield and lift the overall quality of the hotel and outlets.
  • Own all processes related to marketing productivity, data management, marketing technology selection, marketing systems’ administration, budgeting and planning.
  • Oversee outside agencies, vendors and consultants.
  • Audit, track and control all marketing activities
  • Measure, track and analyze marketing strategy effectiveness and make timely adjustments.
  • Support sales team with the creation of marketing collateral and tactical promotions associated with the key market segments (E.g. Groups, Meetings, Suites…)
  • Drive loyalty marketing: Focus on increasing engagement with returning guests through the organization of events, and personalized guest experiences.
  • Develop & implement local marketing activities aiming to engage with locals and increase capture ratio from in-house guests.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
