Marketing Coordinator

Provides customer service and analytical support to the Marine and Independent terminals group. This position includes providing shipper services support to the Southeast Logistics team. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for customer BOL & ethanol inquires, customer product setup requests, destination setup requests, SME for the ATLAS and third party terminal systems. This position will also serve as a backup scheduler for the Logistics team and additional responsibilities include the analysis and preparation of various Southeast Region reports.

Works with different MMP resources to resolve customer issues and communicates resolution to customers.

Analyzes current customer volumes to develop an understanding of market trends. Consults with customers, reviews contracts and communicates with Product Movement Analysts to develop and understanding and help anticipate customer requirements. Communicates compiled results to commercial project managers and management.

Complete customer, product and destination setup requests via Atlas. This requires working with customers, accounting and treasury to ensure the proper documentation and forms are fulfilled and reviewed. Troubleshoots with customers as necessary. Provides customer support for third party terminal systems.

Provides backup coverage for Product Movement Analysts in the Southeast Logistics group. Schedules shipments and deliveries within a scheduling area in accordance with system capabilities and shipper needs. Provides a workable schedule and optimum distribution of products to terminals.

Compiles and ensure accurate performance reports for the terminal group (Gross Margin report, Tank Turn Analysis, Month-to-Month Results, Terminal Market Analysis, etc.). Assists with economic analysis of potential acquisitions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Energy, or other closely related discipline. Position require 0-2 years of related work experience and will be filled at a level commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.

The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows® operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company’s intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.
