Marketing Coordinator

Fisher’s is seeking a qualified individual to fill our Marketing Coordinator position. This Marketing Department team member is responsible for supporting and executing a broad range of marketing and communication projects. Responsibilities will include event coordination, content creation, social media management, and sales/client support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide event planning, design, and production that includes organizing facilities and managing all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
  • Attend community and marketing events as needed. Some require early morning and/or evening hours.
  • Create written content for the website, blogs, e-blasts, press releases, calendar, PowerPoints and other promotional material.
  • Proofread, vet, and review all marketing and advertising materials to ensure branding standards for quality and consistency are met.
  • Manage social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) including daily activity and content.
  • Provide marketing coordination that includes conducting industry research, maintaining promotional materials inventory, and administration of client and vendor contacts.
  • Assist Marketing Manager with marketing activities and projects.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Creative thinker
  • Outgoing personality
  • Team player
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail
  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Intermediate skills in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
  • Some travel and overnight travel is required
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
  • Minimum: Associates Degree or Higher
