Marketing Coordinator

PURPOSE, OBJECTIVES, FUNCTIONS:
The position of the Marketing Coordinator is an opportunity to be a part of a first-in-class highly innovative company as well as be a key member of the Commercial Team. The key responsibilities for the position are listed below.

Essential Functions:
Gain understanding of marketing strategy and projects for kaléo products

Align marketing activities, timing and resources to the commercial strategy for kaléo products

Gain understanding of all projects (current and future); align activities, timing and resources to the plans

Contribute to the development, implementation, support and tracking of marketing initiatives in collaboration with Product Manager (e.g. sales representative materials, healthcare professional peer-to-peer programs, and sales representative communications).

Manage medical marketing conference details by coordinating logistical needs.

Additional Responsibilities:
Support in managing existing vendor and partner relationships with an emphasis on completion of project tasks –deadlines, expectations, budgets and relationships.

Support the process of the Promotional Review Team (PRT) which includes members from Medical, Legal and Regulatory. The Marketing Coordinator will establish the calendar, agenda, assisting with review of marketing materials and capturing edits to distribute to vendors through the Veeva system.

Manage product promotional budget – tracking spend and report variances.

Manage inventory tracking and distribution of marketing materials, monitor inventory and reproduce when necessary.

Assist in specific medical marketing activities (e.g. conferences, Speaker Bureau)

Assist in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid search, and display advertisement efforts

Participate in market and customer research to further clarify core drivers and barriers for successful implementation of brand strategies.

Partner with sales organization to develop and implement initiatives that will maximize sales and healthcare provider education. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree

1-3 years’ experience in sales, marketing or related function

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and resolve issues and conflicts

Must possess confidence and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel

Must have the ability to collaborate and build relationships with commercial and external vendor partners.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience and skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires approximately 20-25% travel as needed.
