Marketing Communications Specialist I

Job Description

The Immunodiagnostics Division ( IDD ) develops, manufactures and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees based in 25 countries worldwide IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.

Communications and Visual Designer – Prepares visual presentations and written communications by designing art and copy layouts. Responsible for creating written and visible images that can be used in media, print and internal/external communication for all audiences. Uses software to design products that meet the needs of the USA ImmunoDiagnostics sales organization.

  • Meet with cross-functional teams to establish a vision for a project or design according to company need and standards.
  • Plans concept by studying data, information and materials to then execute that in a medium for optimal communication –PPT/Keynote, infographics, sales aids, bulletins.
  • Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs.
  • Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various techniques when designing project.
  • Create & develop the layout and production design of written communication, print & digital materials.
  • When necessary, completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
  • Creation and maintenance of the digital resource library.
  • Manage the compliance and use of Corporate and Divisional brands and the associated brand elements.
  • Manage projects related to internal and external corporate events/meetings.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts and / or Design (or equivalent experience)

Demonstrated skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office/Powerpoint, Keynote or similar.
