POSITION OVERVIEW

General Mills is seeking a highly-motivated Marketing Associate to run our portfolio builder businesses, as well as providing ongoing business support across Yogurt, Cereal and Meals Product Platforms.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Management: Lead all packaging changes across Product Platforms and Portfolio Builders, working across cross-functional teams to deliver timely results. Lead Yogurt Holistic Margin Management and pipeline development, collaborating with Yogurt Operating Unit on cross-segment initiatives.
• Business ownership: Ownership of Portfolio Builders, our portfolio of meals products. Includes leading cross-functional team meetings, timeline development, packaging development, sales materials development and volume/forecasting (as needed).
• Business Analysis/Ad-hoc projects: Provide volume and business analysis/insights as requested through learning internal reporting systems and ongoing ad-hoc support for Platform associates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in any major
• 2 years of previous experience; 3 years preferred
• Strong, proven project management skills
• Ability and desire to lead cross-functional teams
• Critical thinking ability to identify and elevate opportunities or risks across all projects and work to help team achieve goals
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build team relationships, especially across functions.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong PC skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Prefer familiarity with these systems: BEX, Essbase, Nielsen and Sharepoint
