Marketing and Social Media Intern

Job Summary

NextJuris is a content delivery, distribution and management ecosystem for legal organizations. We’re revolutionizing continuing legal education (CLE) by facilitating the sharing and distribution of CLE content and bringing lawyers, bar associations, law firms, and corporations together to foster a learning community. We are based in Atlanta, GA, and we are looking to hire a digital marketing intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media and websites.

This is an opportunity for an intern hoping to gain a ton of great internet marketing experience and add value to a growing startup while working with a close-knit team of technology enthusiasts and innovators. The intern may obtain internship credit. Applicant is advised to discuss this with their adviser/department.

The intern will be responsible for creating and structuring social media and marketing content. Responsibilities include developing structure, collaborating with the founders and working with other program leaders for content development.

Duration: 3 – 6 Months (with potential to continue longer)

Hours: 10 – 20 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement social media strategy to drive traffic to our website and social media profiles.
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks.
• Suggest social media tools and contribute to improvement suggestions that increase reach and content/campaign productivity.
• Conduct email campaigns to engage current users, promote platform to potential instructors and promote courses to potential students.
• Conduct bulk email marketing to large subscriber base.
• Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more.
• Able to proficiently work with social media management platforms.
• Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
• Web development strategy.
• Develop content and promotion strategy. Promote content through social advertising.
• Respond to posts or comments to bring value to user’s interactions with organization.
• Post updates, news and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content.

• It is essential that you love technology and the startup culture, and that you are self-sufficient, capable of being productive in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions, and take initiative to develop your own meaningful tasks without constant supervision.
• This is a part-time internship and we require that you use your own computer to complete internship projects and tasks. Although it would be beneficial to having you work and interact with the team at our office, we understand that this may not be possible and are flexible with working arrangement.
• While the internship is unpaid, this is an opportunity to gain great experience with a Silicon Valley style startup while building your resume. It is a role for someone who is motivated, looking for a challenge, and ready to take initiative to learn and grow his/her career.
