Market Operations Specialist

TWM is looking for a driven and capable candidate to join our Market Operations desk. You’ll need to be up for a challenge, as you’ll be required to quickly become proficient with the mechanics of electronic trading, global gold operations and market structure, and the support of multifaceted technology systems. You will demonstrate the composure and aptitude required to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure trading environment.

This position is best suited for a highly collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll work directly with global financial services, bullion, and technology firms to expand access to and understanding of the TWM technology plaftorms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operation of the TWM production trading and custodial technology and the support of its customers
• Collaborate with internal teams at TWM – including IT Operations, Development, Quality Assurance, Legal
• Execute and maintain TWM daily operational procedures
• Develop expertise with TWM systems, market functionality, order types, and external interfaces
• Develop advanced knowledge of market functionality and operations
• Manage TWM venue interaction with external market systems including customers and technology vendors
• Review system activity reports for business and operational functions
• Evaluate and contribute to the development of TWM functional offerings
• Ongoing maintenance of TWM operational procedures
• Preliminary review and onboarding of prospective customers
• Configuration of new customers within the production trading and custodial technology
• Training of customers trading and custodial technology
• Management of TWM trading and settlement reporting
• Publication of TWM alert notifications to customers
• Participation in general TWM product development and business development initiatives

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably business/operations/technology related
• Availability and commitment to accommodate a flexible work schedule and an on-call environment
• Nice-to-haves:

• Project management and operational management experience
• Application support and administration experience
