Manufacturing/Production Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY

Possess the skills and experience relative to assembly, finishing and press operations in all aspects of Turning/Milling to manufacture metallic components to specified quality standards, on a CNC and/or Conventional Turn and/or Mill Center.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Operate a CNC/Conventional Turning.
• Follow a structured method in manufacture of components.
• Have ability to read and work from engineering drawings – meeting specified Quality Standards.
• Read and understand job programs/Readouts (G&M code prog as applicable to CNC machining).
• Prove unproven programs on Job Set-up, editing, offsetting, etc., as required (as applicable to CNC machining).
• Fully utilizing equipment such as a jaw chuck, steady v-blocks, dividing head etc., in the performing of tasks. (As applicable to conventional machining).
• Fully Inspect own work using imperial and/or metric measuring equipment.
• Produce work of a High standard- Work largely unsupervised and be highly self-motivated.
• Prepared to work shift system and overtime (week-ends included).
• Flexible in working requirements as the needs of the business dictate.
• Comply with all Schlumberger QHSE Policies and procedures.
• Operate overhead and pillar type cranes/Lifting equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• 0 – 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• This is a Full-Time Position: 36 hours, plus a shift premium.
• Must be able to work at the following location and work schedules:

MegaDiamond – 275 W 2230 N Provo, UT

Monday – Wednesday 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM

Thursday – Saturday 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Thursday – Saturday 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Manufacturing/Production Machine Operator experience is helpful.
