Manufacturing Support Team Member Associate

The successful candidate will train in the duties and responsibilities of a Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) production controller in the Missile Body Operations Group. With instruction, you will learn to perform functions that control the movement of equipment, material, parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies and complete missiles within a dynamic processing environment. Responsibilities could include performance of electronic actions in a variety or systems, collection and analysis of data, creation and manipulation of spreadsheets, evaluation and implementation of high-level requirements, providing status to leadership, and evaluation of earned value management reports and other performance matrices. Data sets include production, maintenance, and storage records for missiles, missile hardware, support equipment and material handling equipment. The candidate will learn to perform production controller functions, production span analysis, refine workload indicators, participate in “what-if” studies, and support contract proposal efforts. To accomplish these tasks, the candidate will use Microsoft Office Suite, SAP GUI, ORACLE, Integrated Multipurpose Processing System, AMS Real-Time Projects and Microsoft Project. The candidate must possess a strong aptitude for and demonstrated skill in planning, scheduling, or project management; must have good verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment; and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The ideal candidate will have computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; be self-starting, well organized and details oriented; and possess strong analytical skills. The position is located at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, Washington. Candidate must be willing to work day or swing shift,

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated skill in planning, scheduling, or project management.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project experience.

Be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.

Desired skills

Degree emphasis in Business or Project Management desirable.

Ability to learn new computer programs quickly (SAP/AMOS/IMAP).

Demonstrated ability to work independently in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Conscientious, detail-oriented with good organization skills.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Self-directed and highly motivated with strong closure skills.
