Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer (Boise)

NxEdge, Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Boise operation that specializes in engineered materials and coating solutions for the semiconductor industry worldwide.

Responsibilities:

– Analyze technical problems and provide solutions

– Review assigned projects to define, design, develop and deploy the most workable solution

utilizing the least amount of resources

– Design and draft drawings to request parts fabrication by machine shops

– Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data and recommendations for

changes in product or test method

– Assisting in product development and production departments with fixturing and tooling

– Implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as

improve yields and reduce cycle time

– Investigate customer complaints, perform FA’s and implement corrective actions

– Develop specs and produce documents for manufacturing

– Carry out material characterization testing and analysis

– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

– BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree and 0 to 3 years experience, preferably in

design – Experience in Solidworks

– Familiar with Geometric Tolerating

– Coursework or experience in Chemistry and Material Science

– Coursework or experience in Material Characterization is highly desired, but not required

– Strong analytical and problem solving skills

– Strong verbal and technical writing abilities

– Sound organizational skills

– Detail orientated with ability to multi-task
