Manufacturing Engineer

Plan and perform a variety of manufacturing engineering functions to establish productive, cost effective manufacturing methods and processes. Prepare and maintain project planning schedules for the introduction of new or modified products. Develop or modify process formulations, definitions of standard processing and handling equipment requirements and specifications. Recommend revision or modification of tools, methods and procedures that minimize cost. Evaluate various capabilities at vendors to assist in meeting production needs. Interact with design engineering in safe guarding that designs are manufactural. Recommend and prepare changes, additions and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing. Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Responsibilities will also include the accurate development of line items in all bills of material and item masters. Will also be required to program various pieces of CNC equipment.

Job Requirements
Three to 5 years’ CNC programming experience along with manufacturing engineering practices. Hands on machining background a plus. Should be familiar with SolidWorks and all Microsoft Office applications. Solid interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills is needed. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years related experience is needed.
