In this role you will support the Mechanical Circulatory Support division, specifically HeartWare products.

A Day in the Life

You will provide support to production operations which may include material disposition, process updates and daily manufacturing activities
You will conduct product testing, prototype development, tooling review and recommendations, product and tooling quotes, development of manufacturing processes and testing standards
You will recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters
You will develop, characterize and optimize processes using statistical techniques, engineering knowledge and experience

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

You will have a BS degree in Biomedical, Electrical or Computer Engineering and 2+ years relevant experience or a Master’s degree

Nice to Have

Experience in process validations – Characterizations, Process IQ, OQ and PQ, Measurement System Validation
Generation of Preventative Maintenance Procedures, Calibration procedures, Software Back-up and Restore procedures
Knowledge in PLC programming and Solid Works
Process Operation Description (SOP/POD), Work instructions
