YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE

• Your primary functions are to manage and oversee the daily operational availability, performance, and reliability of Channel application “systems”
• Lead and influence the technical direction of the Channel application hosting environments including an understanding of new and existing software and/or applications.
• Lead the Channel team and influence matrix teams on technical direction for web application infrastructure technology for large-scale, highly complex hosting environments
• Provide technical guidance in evaluating requests for information (RFI’s) and requests for proposals (RFP’s).
• Resource management experience leading a technical team
• At least 5 to 7 years of Java/J2EE application hosting experience
• At least 5 to 7 years of hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience
• Solid knowledge of high-volume, highly available Web application hosting environments
• Working knowledge with Java, J2EE, Webshere Application Server (WAS), Webshpere Extreme Scale (WXS)
• Experience in supporting application teams and Troubleshooting in a DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production environment
• Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts
• Ability to lead and mentor individual contributors
• Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation
• Must have methodical problem solving ability and the ability to quickly make complex decisions
• Must be proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal
