Description

As the global leader in patient-focused innovations for structural heart disease and critical care monitoring, Edwards Lifesciences is actively expanding its portfolio when it comes to the opportunity to transform care for the many patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. To accomplish that, Edwards Lifesciences is in the process of developing multiple new Transcatheter based and minimally invasive therapies, and procuring new technologies through acquisitions.
The Business Processes & IT Integration Manager will play a key role in the integration of these acquired companies into Edwards Lifesciences through implementation of standard business processes and critical systems to prepare for commercial product launch. This position requires a well-rounded individual with a strategic mindset and breadth of experience in utilizing standard processes and IT solutions for commercial success. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: identifying the key integration points, prioritizing project demand, sequencing initiatives, business process mapping and creating strategies for systems deployment. We are looking for a strong leader with the ability to balance multiple projects in their portfolio while simultaneously creating an environment that motivates and inspires others to meet Edwards Lifesciences objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, have the ability to operate on a global scale, have a track record of executing on commitments and have the ability to work both independently and within a team. This position is a highly visible position and will be responsible for systems integration activities associated with Product Commercialization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead efforts with various function areas such as, but not limited to, R&D, Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Distribution teams to elicit requirements and formulate changes and enhancements to Enterprise Systems like ERP, PLM, Salesforce, MES, QMS and Clinical Systems, that leads to successful product commercialization
  • Engage with the TMTT leadership team to prioritize initiatives, highlight critical risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, negotiate resources for key initiatives and drive execution of projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Partner with global stakeholders to develop a business process and system deployment strategy
  • Proactive risk and issue management to ensure the expected project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget
  • Financial management including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variances
  • Work closely with senior Business and IT leaders to ensure that delivery expectations are set, managed and met.
  • Act as point of contact for vendor contacts, which includes integration of project tasks and reviewing deliverables
  • Ability to tailor information to the audience – from detail to broad summaries and technical to business focused
  • Ensure project goals are in line with Business and Systems strategy to meet business product commercialization objectives

Qualifications


REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing small to large scale systems integration projects in a mid to large size global organization is required.
  • Experience leading and managing key Merger, Divestiture or Acquisition efforts is required.
  • Process / System implementation experience with core, enterprise-level systems (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS, Clinical Systems, Finance, Sales, Distribution, Marketing) is required.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma or life sciences) is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • 25% travel
