Manager Overview:

At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair. We are a busy, full-service shop, and we are looking for a shop manager who is able to help us provide a quality experience for our customers. We are looking for a shop manager to help us create an environment of success!

Job Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, review, schedule, coach and fire employees
• Grow the business to achieve targeted profitable revenues
• Manage overall operations to minimize loss through continuous improvement and efficiency gains
• Ensure environmental compliance
• Maintain a ‘white glove’ facility
• Establish marketing initiatives according to corporate and local promotions
• Oversee inventory control
• Promote customer service and satisfaction
• Manage Social media marketing for location

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience leading, motivating and counseling employees on issues such as safety, quality and policy and procedure administration/implementation
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
• Communication and sales skills.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree a definite plus.
• Valid Driver’s License that meets insurance guidelines
• 2+ Years of previous management /supervisor experience required
• Previous experience in a Sales Postion
