Mainframe Developer/Technical Analyst

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in Mainframe development / application analysis
• Skill set needed:
• Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL, VSAM, CICS, IMS DC
• Databases: DB2, IMS DB
• Tools: SPUFI, ENDEVOR, CHANGEMAN, FILE-AID, CA7, ABEND AID, Work bench, TEST DIRECTOR, QUALITY CENTER
• Experience with CCM preferred
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good prioritization and time management skills
• Must be willing to work diligently to meet project deadlines
• Open to travel

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with project team to analyze existing applications and create the functional/technical specifications
• Interact with clients/offshore team for requirements gathering
• Perform reviews on the deliverables delivered by developers and ensure compliance with application quality.
• Clarify problems and queries raised by the offshore team
• Participate in release activities
