Mainframe Application Support Engineer

Qualifications Basic

” Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

” At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

Preferred

“At least 4 years of experience in TSO, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and CICS .

“At least 2 year experience with job scheduling using CA7 and Control M.

“Experience and understanding of Z/OS, Mainframe databases IMS & DB2 and SQL, JCL and Debugging.

“Experience in Monitoring event response and event management are preferred (RMF/SMF/MICS/MXG, CA-Sysview)

“Experience in reviews and implementation of system upgrades and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for improvement.

“Must possess the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes

“Experience with trouble shooting skills .

“Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

“Able to work in 24/7 on-call for production support environment
