LOST & FOUND COORDINATOR

Job Summary:
Provides assistance for customers who have lost items within the Central Passenger Terminal Complex. Answers phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding lost items. Accepts found items from multiple sources and enters items in our computerized system. Performs administrative functions and is responsible for monthly Parking Permits.

Responsibilities:
Answers incoming telephone calls from customers regarding their lost items.

Catalogs found items into database.

Accurately places cataloged items in the proper location.

Accurately matches found items against claims.

Answers incoming emails regarding lost items.

Makes outgoing calls to customers.

Arranges shipping or in-person return of items to customer.

Performs administrative functions required to ensure proper accounting and record keeping for monthly parking permits.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirement:
Required: A high school graduate or any equivalent combination of training, education or experience which provides the necessary knowledge, ability and skills needed to perform the job functions.

Skills/Qualifications:
Two years solid customer service experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Preferred: Customer Service experience preferably in a call center environment.

Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Personal Requirements:
Must project an air of professionalism and responsibility at all times. Must be accurate, well organized, and dependable. Must be able to deal with the public in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner both in person, via telephone, or email. Should be available for occasional overtime.
