Customer Service Coordinator

Overview

In this role you will represent ContiTech Thermopol, LLC as a primary point of contact for customers handling general customer inquiries and support order processing while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inquiries through customer portals including checking for shortages, delivery schedules, discrepancies, routing instructions, inventory on hand at the plants, transit times, ASN receipt, set up expedites etc.
  • Resolve difficult delivery issues and general customer concerns by collaborating with production, warehouse, engineering, sales and finance to assure fast responses to customer concerns.
  • Schedule trucks by adding or canceling as needed to insure we do not fall behind schedule and that we are cubing out the trucks to avoid penalties.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding lead times and make recommendations as necessary to meet customer demands and production schedules.
  • Manage customer accounts through EDI and print incoming EDI through the non-automated systems/sort to distribute to the other responsible parties as necessary.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Professional telephone manner, solid communication skills, strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively interact with customers and company personnel.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and work within a fast paced environment including an ability to handle pressure in a professional manner.
  • Be available on call for customer emergencies after hours as necessary
  • Communicate with sales regarding new Po’s or technical documents, etc.
  • Set up new customers for Somersworth location and establish all customer service related processes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma /GED
  • 5 + years experience
  • Good Verbal communication skills
  • Strong Customer Services Skills
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer
  • Ability to handle pressure situations
