Logistics Coordinator

• Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination activity to support product inbound and outbound operations.

• Ability to communicate both Internally and externally with the customers and stakeholders

• Process order set up via preferred internal system to include but not limited to EDI feeds or manual creation.

• Communicate order processing priority to internal operations team.

• Order request verification by comparison of transmitted Call-off vs. established BOM.

• Ensure orders picked and build meeting time line needs.

• Help monitor and ensure proper inventory levels per customer expectations.

• Report daily status activity on all orders.

• Manage/schedule deliveries

• Document daily shift activities from a planning perspective

• Timely review and processing of service provider invoices.

• Validation of the Inbound and outbound reconciliation for all service provider locations.

• Ensure supplier compliance by customer; pre-notice, on-time, proper packaging and labeling.

• Work with inventory team to resolve inventory discrepancies and other issues as needed.

• Work with customer to resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Escalate service failure and issues to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution.

• Actively participate in process flow documentation and standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for improvement based on customer needs.

• Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs.

• Additional education, training and/or work experience in area of specialization inherent to the position may be required. Ensure carrier assignment by TM by using preferred transportation management tools. Understanding of the different transportation modes and service levels.

• Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.

• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

• 1 to 3 years of customer service background in logistics with ability to build a relationship with the customer and handle problem resolution in timely manner.

• Previous Telecommunication site delivery coordination experience a plus.

• Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge with strong emphasis on Excel (V Look Ups, Pivot Table) used for tracking and analysis

• Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

• Must be able to manage inventory in an RF. Portal, and Manual system environment. This candidate will work in an office setting but will be expecting to travel to warehouse as needed.

• Ability to adapt and work in an ever changing, stress induced changing environment.

• HS diploma or GED required, college degree is a plus.
