Job Description

Responsible for ordering, reviewing, renewing and maintaining loan disbursements and payoffs. Functions include: reviewing loan documentation terms and conditions; monitoring loan draw requests; coordinating loan disbursements, payoffs and demands; reviewing completed disbursement audits; reviewing loan reconciliations; reviewing reports from lower level specialists; ensuring all procedures are in compliance with government regulations and company policies. Within the commercial business is responsible for cash management transactions, intake activities and collateral management. OR Provides work direction to a team of Loan Servicing Specialists, ensuring unit s work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating and monitoring daily activities. Acts as an escalation point for specialists to resolve issues and provide training.: 2+ years’ experience in asset based lending, customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment.

Primary daily responsibilities include the following:

  • Participation Settlements – True-up with participating lenders on outstanding pro-rata share of loan balances
  • Manual Cash Posting – Manually post any un-posted cash items to the corresponding Lucas loan based upon the information provided on the incoming cash notice
  • Libor Borrowing Notifications – Create Libor Tranches based upon the applicable rates within the Lucas system
  • Reconcile interest/fees for Sold and Bought Participations
  • Work directly with clients and front office as needed.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment


Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Accounting or finance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of asset based lending or commercial lending
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
