Loan Officer Assistant

Well-established mortgage bank with a great atmosphere and work/life balance, is in immediate need of a Loan Officer Assistant in the Idaho Falls area!

Position Description:

The LOA is responsible for supporting the LO team. The LOA will be responsible for fostering quality relationships with borrowers while completing the origination processing of loan applications, providing loan disclosures, and reviewing files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to all guidelines. The LOA may contact borrowers to collect necessary documentation and act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, and customers.

This is a TEMP TO HIRE opportunity and the pay rate is $15 per hour for a licensed LOA, and $13 per hour for a Transaction Coordinator who is open to obtaining their Mortgage Originating License.

***LOA candidate MUST have an active NMLS Originating license in the state of Idaho.***

The ideal candidate MUST have an active NMLS Originating License in the state of Idaho, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of employment. We are looking for a minimum of 2 years’ loan officer/loan officer assistant/loan processing or other applicable mortgage industry experience. Computer skills are required, including proficiency with internet searches, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
