RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Linux / Unix Systems Administrator (Hardware / Software)
• Technical support and General trouble shooting for commercial and award winning proprietary applications and pipeline.
• Render monitoring and wrangling
• General system administration for account set up with Idap server and mail server
• Collaborate with international offices

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in related study or equivalent experience
• 2 + years experience as a Linux/Unix systems administrator
• 2+ years experience identifying and resolving technical issue on Linux/Unix server platform
• 2+ years experience managing a Windows environment.
• Programming experience. Preferably with Python
• 2+ years experience administrating with technical support staff on cross platform issues
• 2+ years experience installing new system software/hardware products as well as new versions and releases for existing system software
• Storage Administration
• Experience working in an Animation / VFX production studio a plus but not necessarily a requirement
• Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with hardware components, including internal/external RAID devices and Intel compatible PC hardware
