Linux Support Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented Linux Support Engineer. Broad technical knowledge, creative problem solving, troubleshooting, communication skills and a positive attitude are core to this position.

Your Mission

Enthusiastically provide enterprise-level customer support

Troubleshoot a wide variety of customer issues via telephone, email and web based case management systems for multiple business units

Take ownership of reported customer issues and see problems through to resolution

Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers

Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues

Write documentation, knowledge base articles and FAQs for use by both internal staff and customers

Your Track Record & Skill Set

Extensive familiarity with Linux, in particular RHEL/CentOS and Debian distributions

Excellent written and verbal communications

Solid understanding of networking and networking protocols, in particular VoIP/SIP

Careful, methodical approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues

Excellent customer-facing skills

Comfortable in a small office environment

Experience with HylaFAX is desirable but not necessary

Experience with Wireshark is a plus
