Linux Build Integration Debug Engineer

Soal Tech is hiring a contractor to work on site in San Diego, CA as a Linux build integration debug Engineer. Our company offers W2 employment and benefits. This is a position slated for 5 months + and can be extended for multi year in contract length. If you are interested please send a resume.

Description:

This position is for Linux build, integration, triage and debug engineer with the following responsibilities:

– Integrate Android upgrades and releases into internal builds

– Perform other integration activities and make internal and external software releases

– Resolve various build and integration issues in an independent manner as well as coordinate with other teams as necessary

– Perform manual as well as automated sanity tests

– Debug and triage technical issues

Minimum Qualifications:

– Linux/Android build and integration tools

– Git, Gerrit, Repo Software configuration management Android build system Linux/Android debugging High level programming experience in C, C++ or Java Scripting using Python or similar language

Preferred Qualifications:

Embedded Systems, Android App development, JTAG
