Job Description
Do you have a passion for aquatics and living a healthy way of life? We are looking for a safety minded Lifeguard who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. A typical day for a Lifeguard could include:
  • Monitoring the pool deck during morning lap swim
  • Assisting with aquatics events like Dive in Movies & Poolapalooza
  • Maintaining safety on water slides

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with Members
  • Immediately rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers
first aid
  • Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and
activities
  • Conducts swim breaks as required
  • Promotes Life Time Swim classes and recommends appropriate class
levels to members
  • Quickly and efficiently responds to Member questions, comments, and
concerns
  • Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
  • Immediately reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse
relating to youth

Qualifications


Education & Experience
  • Working towards a high school diploma or GED
  • Six months customer service experience preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
  • Lifeguard and First Aid certified
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hire
