Level 2 Linux Admin

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Looking to add to our family. We are looking for someone that can work with end user personnel and help solve more complex problems. The support role is very customer facing and you will be working both remotely and on site to solve issues. Every day will be different as you work with different tools and resources to service our clients. Your primary role will be Linux Admin and Help Desk lead however there will be ample opportunities for onsite work as well. Some travel required.

You must be able to communicate and document well what you are doing in the ticketing system in real time. Work with other team members to solve problems as effectively and as efficiently as possible. You must be able to identify key issues, solve problems and implement changes to create better outcomes. High-Reach2 likes to partner with our users/clients so business operational knowledge and understandings of business flow is important to us being successful and adding value to our users.You must also work well in a team environment, mentoring others as needed.

This person would be working with the following technologies:

• CentOS branded Linux Servers
• MS SQL Databases
• Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 workstations in business and enterprise environments
• Microsoft Servers 2008 to 2012 setup with multiple server roles.
• User & identity management structures to include Active Directory, RADIUS, ldap
• Linux Servers with multiple hardware setups.
• Networking & Routing, including firewalls
• Office365
• VMware vSphere
• Barracuda Backup Appliance

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Linux experience. Candidate must have a working knowledge with verifiable experience. 4-6 yrs.
• Microsoft OS installation experience. 3-4 yrs.
• General Networking experience. 3-4 yrs.
• Help desk Experience. Ability to self-manage and detail work accomplished in timely manner, as well as good communication.
• A+ Certification is a plus.
• Linux Certification a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
