Description

Summary Provide outstanding customer service to customers and co-workers and assist Loan Officers by pre-qualifying and screening loan customers and assisting with loan applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provide outstanding customer service to customers and co-workers;

Facilitate loan application process by interfacing with customer in taking complete applications;

Request documentation from borrowers;

Discuss products in the absence of Loan Officer;

Field inquiry call for and review with Loan Officer;

Act as liaison between Loan Officer and loan processing, if applicable;

Coordinate loan closings;

Coordinate loan funding;

Review complex files;

Identify potential problems with credit tracking exceptions and compile documentation required to clear them;

Answer phones, as needed;

Assist customer with wire transfers and loan advances as needed; and

Other work related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Computer skills should include typing 60 wpm, 10-key by touch and working knowledge of office equipment;

Must have Word processing, spreadsheet and general computer knowledge;

Must have strong organizational, interpersonal communications, public relations and outstanding customer service skills;

Must be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and handle frequent interruptions; and

Must be able to pass credit and background screening process.

Education and/or Experience

High School education or general education degree (GED);

Minimum of two years banking, lending and teamwork experience preferred.; and

Bilingual, preferred but not required.
