Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the strategic direction of the COO, the Labor Analyst will construct labor plans monthly (called "operational builds"), analyze actual labor being used vs. authorized on a daily basis, and identifying poor use of labor to include overtime and other anomalies. Assist with other analytical projects as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the position):

  • Design and produce daily, weekly, and monthly labor reports, as assigned.

  • Analyze and forecast resource requirements against operational plans, available budget, labor standards, and past information to optimize compendium while meeting operational requirements.

  • Assist in preparation of explanations for monthly & quarterly & annual labor reports, including a comparison of actual versus budget and prior year amounts.

  • Work with Human Resources on staffing levels by department and position.

  • Work with Information Technology to gather necessary data from GAT’s business intelligence platform and timekeeping system (Qlik and ADP Vantage)

  • Work with VPs, directors, and managers in designing and reporting labor templates for each department

  • Build ad-hoc labor reports, as assigned

  • Assist other department personnel with questions and concerns.
