Junior UI Designer

We are searching for a Junior UI Designer to join a rapidly growing Agile team on a mission to design and build industry shaping web applications during a transformational time for the business. Here is some of what you’ll be doing if you join our journey to scale and delight even more customers:

• Work closely with project manager and other designers to optimize new and existing features for our growing mobile and web platforms
  
• Effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors for both mobile and web
  
• Own the end-to-end design process including all deliverables: user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  
• Design layouts and UI components such as iconography, graphical elements and navigation tools
  
• Collaborate effectively with an agile, multi-disciplinary team to evaluate the value of proposed designs
  
• Work well with cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives
  
• Develop UI specifications for development teams
  
• Work closely with offshore engineers and QA
  
• Test designs

Requirements:

• Experience in designing web and mobile applications

• Degree in design or related work experience

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• The ability to quickly turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups in an iterative environment

• Proficiency in Sketch, Zeplin, and any prototyping tools [Marvel, Atomic, InVision]

• Knowledge in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
