Junior Software Engineer

Hehmeyer Trading + Investments is a proprietary trading firm, as well as a commodity trading advisor, commodity pool operator and introducing broker business. We are searching for a junior level developer to join one of our existing trading groups. This developer will be working on proprietary software that has already been built in C++, Java and C#. Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will work within a small options trading group and work on maintaining and enhancing existing trading system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals
• C++ or Core Java experience
• Methodical approach and attention to detail
• Willing to learn relevant technologies and business logic
• 0-3 years of experience maximum

Nice to have:

• OO programing expertise, design patterns
• Systems programming (threading, IPC, networking, assembler)
• SQL, C#, bash, Linux, Git
• Familiarity with exchange protocols and operation
