The ideal candidate will have knowledge and skills with Java-based web applications, HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge and experience with Groovy/Grails, jQuery and Apache HTTP Server is also preferred.

This is a full-time position in our Lincoln, NE, corporate headquarters; remote, contract and workers requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered at this time.

Basic Description

The Junior Software Developer will work on our development team building our suite of web applications, core APIs and 3rd party integrations. The junior software developer will work with the software development team and product management to design product specifications, delivery timelines and completed application, as well as participate in the development and support of both commercial and internal business applications. The junior software developer will support the development of multiple projects including but not limited to: creating and maintaining high quality code documentation, conducting research on emerging technologies and determining how to apply them to current initiatives.

Preferences for Success:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in software development
