Junior Publicist/Digital Media Strategist

Music City Media, a boutique-style PR, marketing and branding company (in the music and entertainment sector) is seeking a junior publicist to join our team.

SALARIED FULL-TIME JUNIOR PUBLICIST:

Desired start date: IMMEDIATE

Responsibilities Include: Assist with all aspects of artist material development, PR (single/CD/book release campaigns including pitching reviews and interviews), social media campaigns, promotions, contesting for clients and new launch projects.

-Assist in writing artist bios/press release/social media copy for all channels.

-Create/design social media visuals (banners/e-cards, etc.)

-Assist in creating/maintaining social media post schedules-Launch/Coordinate FB advertising and “boost” campaigns.

-Establish pixel codes-Research various client-related topics for posts and digital content -Oversee/Assist with Tour Press Campaigns

Seeking a roll-up-your-sleeves, young professional with entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to help brand and break-out our independent artists.

Must have a minimum 1-year experience (intern or as employee) in the PR arena with knowledge of press release distribution services (such as MyEmma/MailChimp, etc), be familiar with Cision and have some design experience.
