Junior Level Analog Application Engineer

The Mixed Signal and Linear Product Division (MSLD) at Microchip is seeking a junior level mixed signal application engineer who can support the existing and new analog-to-digital converter products. The candidate will develop various product-related technical collateral such as application notes, application reference designs, product evaluation tools, data sheets, etc.

The candidate will work closely with the senior level application engineers, marketing engineers, and new product development teams. The candidate will support mixed signal application customers through technical challenges and provide expert knowledge of the products, tools, and solutions available from applications group.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 1 – 5 years experience in engineering
• Experience in Analog-to-Digital Converters or similar analog devices is a big plus
• Embedded hardware and firmware design experience (MCU/FPGA) is a big plus
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to engage with customers (internal and external) on technical topics to help with discovery of customer needs and to solve application issues
• Ability to lead workshops/webinars/seminars on technical topics
