Junior Engineer

Your position will be one of constant learning and growth as we continually evaluate new technologies and put them to use in a multitude of applications around the world. We need someone that has an open mind, a good organization framework, quality execution skills, and a great attitude. You will likely be our main engineer in the next few years as you grow with the company and obtain your PE license. We want someone that sees the potential in us, as we do in them.

You will be working under an experienced PE to start, but with the intent of becoming the licensed engineer with the company.

Basic requirements:

BS degree in engineering

MS degrees preferred

Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCadProficiency with Civil 3D and GIS preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and equivalent

What we are looking for:

– 3+ yrs experience in wastewater process design

– masters degree preferable

– PE not required, but should sit for test in next year or so

– need strong desire to learn and continue education in the industry

– strong initiative

– great organizational skills

– attention to detail is a must

– capable of coordinating simultaneous tasks/projects

– Able to work closely with others; must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills

– Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation

You will be working on:

process and system design

research and development of new technologies

QA/QC of project builds

help with project management of builds and installations

Complete engineered drawings and specification sheets

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Maintain communication and relationships with regulatory bodies and associations Complete cost estimates

Conduct cost engineering

Work with vendors to ensure products meet requirements

Salary: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
