Junior Designer

ABOUT THIS ROLE

ViewFind, a beautiful platform for visual storytelling and a creative studio for brands, is searching for a talented Junior Designer with proven skills in digital and print media. This person will support our corporate, editorial and development teams by designing and producing powerful presentations for our editorial platform – viewfind.com, our associated app, our in-house branding efforts and our corporate clients.

ViewFind is a beautiful online platform for extraordinary visual storytelling. With our network of 4,000+ photojournalists based around the world, we provide two main services:

• Enable photojournalists to breathe life into their projects through support from our editorial, design and development teams.
• Produce authentic, powerful content for brand partners leveraging our robust network of photojournalists and their expertise in visual storytelling.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and produce corporate proposal decks and informational one-pagers
• Create and update designs for engaging multimedia projects for our site and app.
• Design and produce photo-centric magazines/books – both digital and print – for our corporate clients and in-house branding efforts.
• Conceive of and implement strategies for improving our brand marketing products
• Pitch in wherever and whenever needed to ensure our company’s success

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong visual design background and skills in both print and digital production
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Sketch App, Invision, Principle & Keynote
• Experience with UI design and best use strategies
• Work and collaborate effectively with a small team of writers, photo editors and developers who are committed to excellence
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
• Proactive, can-do attitude
• Proficiency with Google docs

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT A PLUS)

• Video editing and production experience
• Motion graphics design
