Junior Business Analyst

We’re looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join us in delivering excellent results for our Federal Government clients. You will be essential to the success of this project as you and your team develop new, innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Your problem-solving ability, analytical mind, and drive to exceed expectations will lead you to excel in this role.

Overview

As a member of the Centeva team, you will be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of business processes within the Federal Acquisition domain by analyzing end-user and stakeholder needs, recommending solutions, and managing the execution of approved initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Process Analysis and Improvement
    • Lead change management efforts
    • Assess “As Is” and “To Be” processes and documenting gaps
    • Define project scope with client input
    • Understand and create solutions to improve user experience
  • Requirements Management
    • Create requirements that move client to proposed solution
    • Build business models that will guide the architecture of the proposed solution
    • Communicate and interpret business models between the client and development team
  • Stakeholder and Executive Interaction
    • Support organizational Change Management
    • Collaborate to elicit new products and improve existing solutions
  • Program management documentation support
  • Risk and issue management support
  • Issue resolution/helpdesk support
  • Participation in team and customer meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or a technical field
  • 1-3 Years of Professional Work Experience
  • Ability to confidently communicate to and advise senior management
  • Experience directly communicating with, supporting or training an end-user community
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, emerging growth environment

Desired

  • Experience and/or expertise in Project Management
  • Experience and/or expertise in Federal Acquisition
  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with the software development life-cycle (SDLC)
