Junior Application Developer

An established, multi-million dollar parts distribution organization that is dedicated to serving the air transportation industry, has an immediate employment opportunity for an experienced Junior Application Developer at its Miami Lakes, FL location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom business solutions.
• Work with our customer service team to support existing business applications.
• Develop and perform unit testing, help with QA or UAT application testing.
• Assist with application deployment.
• Create and maintain product documentation.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations regarding processes and technologies.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in full-cycle software development
• A strong understanding of relational database and efficient use of indexing such as MS SQL Server
• Knowledge in XML, Microsoft Entity Framework, IIS, Microsoft TFS Version Control, GitHub and Bootstrap
• Ability to develop with JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX and AngularJS
• Experience with HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Knowledge of NET Technologies – Framework, C#, VB.Net, ADO.NET
• Experience with Microsoft Web API or WCF
• A very strong understating of building APIs, with a focus on RESTful services in JSON Format

Preferred Experience:

• A strong understanding of OAuth 2.0
• Experience with Apple and/or Android mobile development using NativeScript
• Experience in PHP, TypeScript, AngularJS 2, EDI and ASP.NET
