Junior Accountant

Job Descriptions:
Speakman, purveyor of premium Shower and Bath products since 1869, is currently hiring a Junior Accountant to provide accounting support to our Controller and Finance Team. This position will be exposed to all aspects of the Accounting functions, which will provide an opportunity for growth within the Accounting team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Account Analysis

Sales & Use Tax Preparation

Prepare and Record Journal Entries

Support Credit Manager with Collections

Financial Reporting

Bank Reconciliations

Month End Activities

Manage Concur Expense Reporting

Assist with Inventory Management

Required Experience:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

1-5 years work experience

Proficiency with Excel and Word preferred

Experience with ERP Systems (i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred

Ability to work within a team and independently
