Jr Web Developer

The Jr. Web & Application Developer is responsible for supporting both front and backend programming, for client and in-house online website properties and applications.

Position Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of coding standards, workflow, or tool standards, as well as best practice protocols and database environments
• Ability to provide input design solutions or coding practices for online entities and applications across all stages of the development process
• Plan, develop, and maintain online web and application properties (using server-side coding like PHP, .NET, etc.) which connect with a database platforms (using MySQL, SQL, etc.)
• Write and understand HTML code and program languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, MySQL, MSSQL AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and NodeJS
• Work within strict deadlines and within project scopes
• Create, edit or modify plugins for content management system frameworks
• Knowledge and testing of cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
• Knowledge of integrating websites with front-end skinning and functionalities, including the understanding of PSD to HTML, responsive template, user experience etiquettes, best practices protocols and database environments
• Capability to resolve problems with successful resolutions to applications and objectives
• Present strong communication skills and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
