The Junior Support Dev is responsible for building web pages and optimizing systems essential to warehouse operations. Also partly responsible for supporting business applications relating to warehouse operation.

This person will also focus on Job duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Developing software/Web solutions
• Developing, creating, modifying, and documenting general computer applications’ software or specialized utility programs
• Communicate with the reporting user on escalated help tickets and, if needed, go visit them for more details.
• Test/Prepare yours and others updates for business prior to going live.
• Troubleshoot software problems with test system to identify the problem and perform necessary corrective action.
• Accept ownership for issues and different requests; always exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Supports other IT teams by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as directed.

Duties of this job may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 30 lbs., working in an office environment, operating various office equipment, sitting for long periods at a time, stooping, bending, twisting, and being exposed to various noises and temperatures. Some travel may be required.

This person will need to meet the following requirements:

• Knowledge of MSSQL, can work with relational databases
• Knowledge of Windows environment
• Working knowledge/programming experience with C#, PHP, VBScript, or HTML5
• Detail-oriented, and likes to solve problems efficiently
• Ability to problem solve with all IT systems, and can demonstrate said ability
• Passion for learning new technologies and improving processes
• Self-motivated, and can work without a lot of management
