Jr. Software Engineer

About the Position:

Strategy Companion, a business intelligent and data analytics solution company, is seeking passionate and highly motivated individuals who can combine technical and business skills to join our Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience with software development, working with JavaScript, C#, ASP.net, and SQL. This position is based in Irvine, California.

We are looking for both full-time professionals to join our team. You must be a US citizen or Green Card holder, and currently reside in Orange County to be considered for this position.

Job responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Software Development Team to design, develop, test, and implement of the software in current programming languages (ex. Java, C#)
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Debug and test product issues
• Manage multiple projects in a variety of discipline, may involve coordination with contracted vendors
• Trace, log and properly document all tickets
• Perform other duties as may be assigned

Required skills & qualifications:

• Proficient using JavaScript for software development
• Experience with programming using C#, ASP.net. and SQL
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Ability to handle to use the entire Microsoft Stack
• Familiar and experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular
• Solid analytical, debug and test skills are highly desired
• A strong willingness to collaborate in a team development atmosphere
• Experience and knowledge of Business Intelligence and analytical tools are highly desired
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to troubleshoot, research and work through complex problems
• Must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Recent college graduates and current students of computer science, mathematics, data science, or a closely related filed are welcome to apply.
