Jr. Software Developer

RAB Lighting is growing rapidly and is seeking a Jr. Software Developer who will be responsible for development and maintenance of software projects. The ideal candidate will be versed in common web languages, interested in exploring new languages and frameworks, and enjoys diving into problems and working across business units to create software that innovates and makes work easier.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and maintain current software deployments
• Perform testing / debugging of current and updated software
• Manage project requirements and create project documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 2+ years’ experience in PHP programming (object oriented and functional)
• Experience with distributed DVCS (GIT, mercurial)

Preferred

• Angular, jQuery, YUI, mootools or other JavaScript frameworks
• Mobile development experience (native iOS/ android, or hybrid HTML5, Cordova)
• Google API experience
